My name is Alyx and I am a Filipino artist based in the lək̓ʷəŋən territory with a love for fashion and the freedom of self-expression through it! My art and products draw heavy influences from anime, K-Pop, and video games with a twist of the cute aesthetics of our era.

Astridtrades

Astridtrades is a Victoria-based shop specializing in official K-pop merchandise, including photocards and CDs. They also offer a variety of anime figurines, manga, Pokémon and other Japanese trading cards, as well as Japanese video games.

All items are pre-owned but carefully kept in good condition, coming from Astrid’s personal collection or duplicates. As the name suggests, Astridtrades also actively trades cards through their Instagram, @astridtrades.

There are even more items available beyond what’s posted, so there’s always something new to discover!

Bao Theory

BaoTheory is a modern Taiwanese-inspired food truck based on Vancouver Island, specializing in gua bao—soft, fluffy buns filled with bold, flavourful ingredients. Our menu blends traditional Taiwanese street food with a fresh, contemporary twist, featuring crispy fried chicken, braised meats, and creative vegetarian options, alongside snacks.

We focus on delivering food that is both delicious and visually appealing, with a strong emphasis on clean, aesthetic presentation and balanced flavours. Our items are designed to be handheld and convenient, making them perfect for markets, festivals, and high-energy events.

As the only bao-focused food truck on the Island, we bring something unique to every event we attend. We also prioritize eco-friendly practices by using compostable packaging whenever possible.

BaoTheory is all about creating a fun, memorable food experience that brings people together through great flavours and a modern take on Taiwanese street food.

Crystal Millions is a longtime contributor to Victoria’s arts scene, working closely with music events and inclusive gatherings such as OtherWorld. They take pride in creating whimsical pieces that resonate with audiences of all kinds.

A multidisciplinary artist, Crystal finds joy in a range of creative practices, including jewelry making, painting, and more.

Catmared

Hi, I’m Cat! I create unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry—each piece is individually designed and will not be recreated once it’s sold.

I also design my own sewing patterns and handcraft plushies from scratch. My goal is to create plushies that are sensory-friendly, with calming and grounding textures for a comforting play experience

Charmed

Charmed is created for collectors of all things cute. Inspired by a love of collecting, nostalgia, and playful self-expression, each beaded bag charm is handmade using carefully curated beads and finished with an adorable figure—often featuring characters like Sonny Angel and Labubu. Every piece is crafted with a strong focus on quality and charm.

In addition to accessories, Charmed offers professional tooth gem services at both pop-up events and in-studio, adding a custom sparkle that’s safe for your smile. Permanent makeup services are also available in-studio, where the business first began—rooted in detail-driven artistry and thoughtful client care.

At Churros and Mor, our mission is to deliver the ultimate churro experience paired with exceptional service. We are committed to meeting each customer’s unique needs through an inclusive menu and an environmentally conscious approach.

Our passion for serving the best churros is matched by our dedication to creating a welcoming and memorable experience for everyone.

Citrusflowar

Citrusflowar is an independent artist who’s new to the vendor scene, but deeply passionate about their work and excited to share it with others. They primarily create anime, game, and manhwa-inspired fan art, along with some original character designs.

Citrusflowar aims to offer a wide variety of merchandise, including keychains, buttons, stickers, phone charms, prints, and photocards. They're always working on expanding their lineup—slowly but surely—while maintaining a balance between creating pieces for a broad audience and staying true to my own style.

They hope there’s a little something for everyone to enjoy!

Eden Sprout is an artist creating funky, unique, one-of-a-kind crochet pieces that are size-inclusive and full of personality. They love making items that spark a little smile and bring joy to others, while helping people feel seen and confident in expressing their individual style.

We offer a variety of rice balls (onigiri) and other Japanese-inspired foods. With at least seven different rice ball flavours—including vegan options—there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

By blending Japanese and Canadian ingredients, we create unique and delicious flavours you won’t find anywhere else.

High Tea Trinkets creates cute, quirky, joy-sparking jewelry—rings, necklaces, and earrings made from tiny dollhouse miniatures, small toys, and little objects with big personality. Mochifetti

Mochifetti is run by Leopold (they/them) & Jam (she/her), two queer, neurodivergent artists who also happen to be madly in love <3 Our work is cute, pastel, fun, and inspired by old cartoons & harajuku fashion 💛 Leopold and Jam work as a team with Leopold handling design, over all production, and creative flow, while Jam takes on all the finishing touches, small production jobs, & market coordination. Mochifetti operates as a fun side job more than a full brand, and everything is made with love and a sense of fun. Selling is generally secondary to our work- we just love creating! We try to use repurposed materials as much as we can, and reduce our waste wherever possible, reusing scraps and thrifted material often.

Novalikestodraw's work is heavily inspired by nature, children’s books and nostalgic media. They mostly offer prints of original illustrations but have some fab art as well. Additionally, I offer original stickers too!

Pretty Odd Dad Bod

From the weird and wacky to the downright nerdy, I draw inspiration from '80s to early 2000s nostalgia and cursed imagery to bring you a mixed bag of goodies.

Hand made and professionally printed stickers, art prints, buttons, 3D-printed and hand painted creations, multi-material keychains, jewelry, and laser-engraved wooden items that are anything but ordinary!

Rockystart by Rae

Rockystart by Rae started as a way to express my nerdier weirder side. I make primarily stickers but also small trinket trays from clay and keychains. The key chains do include made items that I turn into charms but every keychain includes original art that the charms are themed after.

Sealune Studios makes accessories for your inner mermaid, selkie or ocean lover, with unique handcrafted jewelry. Each piece is lovingly created by hand in Victoria BC with resin and carefully curated materials. Due to the handmade nature of all Sealune works, each piece is unique and can only be imitated never entirely repeated. From sparkly statement pieces to toned down everyday wear jewelry, and sea themed decor and keychains, Sealune offers unmatchable choices with the kiss of ocean magic in each one.

Sewing Chaos is a Queer and Trans owned hobbyist sewing artists. We handmade patches, embroidery, bags, quilts, blankets and many more. We do commission as we love to create something personal to our clients. If we're able to bring our machine on a market, we're open to do commission on the spot!

Stardust 99th sells a vast array of colourful accessories that look cute enough to eat! You can find items from jewelry to keychains to top loaders, all designed and made by the members of our dance group to support our performance activities!

Woodland Wool Crochet

Woodland Wool Crochet is a Victoria-based fiber artist who specializes in detailed art dolls. Their work draws inspiration from Victorian Gothic fiction, vintage carnivals, high fantasy and woodland motifs. Their plushies are all carefully handmade from start to finish, including hand-painted eyes, sewn detailing and adornments, and more!

Their work runs across a broad range of sizes and price points; From teeny tiny pocket frogs to large, complex jesters and mythical creatures, you'll be sure to find something to love!

Yarn For Me

My love for amigurumi began as a hobby during the COVID lockdown. During that time, I challenged myself to create Mario and Luigi for my two boys, who love Super Mario and Nintendo games. Through that experience, I discovered my passion and fell in love with the art of crocheting amigurumi.

Since then, I’ve been crocheting almost every day. Each of my plushies is special to me because they are thoughtfully handmade with love and care. I always make sure every piece is crafted to the best of my ability and made to last a long time.

Crocheting has become something I truly love, and it will always be a part of me.

Tsukino-Con

Tsukino-Con is a not-for-profit, community-oriented convention held annually at the University of Victoria, celebrating anime fandom and Japanese culture. Established in 2009 following the seven-year run of its predecessor, Kei-Con, the first official Tsukino-Con took place in February 2010 and has continued to run each year during UVic’s winter reading break.

In recent years, the convention has expanded to include a summer event, held annually in early August at the Esquimalt Gorge Park Pavilion.

The name “Tsukino-Con” translates to “Convention of the Moon,” inspired by its location at the University of Victoria and the ring road that circles the campus.
